Well this years reunion is over and it was a very interesting one. Everyone seems to have had a great time. The tours of Camp Lejuene and the Air station at New River went great. Camp Lejuene let us shop at the PX and we ate lunch in the mess hall with the grunts of the 8th Marines. The food was fantastic and talking to the young Marines was a lot of fun. The tour at New River gave us a chance to see the Osprey which is the newest air craft in the Marine Corps. They let us play on a thingypit simulater and see how the mechanics are trained. I want to thank Dennis Antle for his help in setting up the tour of New River. We met lots of the young Marines and they are bigger and smarter then we were. Friday night Dennis Antle took us to a private club in Jacksonville that had the largest collection of Marine Corps memorbilla that I have ever seen. It was like a museum we had a great time. I want to thank everyone that came to the reunion and hope to see everyone next year.
