All I can say is that the reunions just keep getting better. I agree 100% with what Mike said, but want to add just a few things.
We had 25 Registrants this year which makes it the largest gathering so far. When you add the wives that showed up we had over thirty. We had a six car caravan going to the different sights and I heard many positive comments. The real highlight for me was the comradety of everyone. Sure some of us remembered others from past years and Veitnam, but even if we didn't, we still joined in the conversations and remembered the good times as well as the bad. Again this year one individual commented how the reunion helped to heal some old woounds.
Kudos to Mike for coming up with some interesting activities. Besides Camp LeJuene and New River Air Station, we also visited Fort Macon, a Cival War site and the newly renovated Aquarium on Everald Isle. He also found some great places to eat.
Dennis Antles son Dan joined us in sveral places. He is currently station at New River. Also, Bruce Arnold's son joined us this year. Unfortunately, with all the new names and faces, I'm at a loss to remember his name. SORRY!
Well, Next year we hope to go to San Diego. Stan Prelgovisk and John Goulet are looking into hotels now. Keep watching the web site for 2007 details as they come available. We are looking at late June again so start making plans now.

:)Made it back home safe and sound, well safe anyway. Had a great time! This was my second reunion --- they just keep getting better. Thanks to Mike and Dave for all the work putting this thing together. The trip to Camp Lejuene and New Rivers was great. I especially enjoyed visiting with all the fine young Marines. Thanks to Dennis Antle for taking us to the private club in Jacksonville. That was really a great club – lots of Marine Corps stuff. I also enjoyed visiting with your son—what a great example of a Marine. I’m looking forwards to next year’s reunion in San Diego. I am sure Stan and John will find us a great Motel --- if not we can probably all bunk at Stan’s house!!!! Maybe next year someone will be there that can solve the great mystery --- was I on Hill 34? ? Semper Fi hope to see you all at next years reunion. Wm. E.
