Since Rod was so kind and praised the work that Mike and I are doing, I thought it only appropreit to give some praise his way. He is the guy who does most of the work on the web page and is the only one that know many of the computer stuff that goes into it. While Mike and I have some access, we are all the time calling on Rod to get things posted correctly. So I say, HATS OFF TO ROD ADAMS!!!!!! Keep up the good work.

Thanx Rod, Mike, and Dave!!! It is hard to believe 38 years has passed since that 4th of July rocket and morter attack on Dong Ha in '67. I was the last one to talk to Petty, that night of the 4th, before we laid down knowing Intelligence said we were going to be hit. I was 2 weeks in country and Ernie told me to sleep in the ditch leading down into the bunker. He got his cot and put it on the other side of the sandbag wall. We laid there and talked about his 2 weeks left before he went home, I told him about the things going on back in the World. The first round, they said the next morning about 3000 rounds had hit the Dong Ha Base, came in around 01:30 and landed 30 feet away. I caught a piece of shrapnel in my left leg, but the incoming direction and force took Ernie. He had saved my life 38 years ago, but it is still like it was last week. Thanx to Bruce Arnold and his son, Scot, for letting me know you are here. I am working on a Drilling Rig, in the Gulf of Mexico right now and we are taking a lot of gas right now on the choke. I will be free in a couple more days and help out with names and info I remember. Thanx again. Semper Fi and God Bless Our Troops!!!! Jack Anderson, Dong Ha 6/67-1/68, DaNang 1/68-7/68.
