I HAVE BEEN DOING SOME RESEARCH ON 7TH COMM.BN. AND HAVE FOUND SOME MORE NAMES OF MEMBERS OF 7TH COMM. WHO DIED IN VIET NAM. WE WILL GET THEIR NAMES ON THE TRIBUTE PAGE. THE NAMES ARE

PFC JOHN GOLDSBERY 3 JUNE 1968
LCPL ROBERT EWALD 18 JUNE 1968
PFC WILLIAM DODSON 28 JUNE 1968

I was researching for Comm units with FLC (5th Comm) I retained both 5th and 7th KIA from the "Excel Files". These files are from USMC along with The Wall, and Virtual Wall, and No-Quarter. I have a total of 45 names/units for 7th Comm and be more than glad to share to whomever may want them. Example: Cpl Robert Carl Sherman was on his 2nd tour in Viet Nam. He was assigned to HQ BN, 7th Comm, assigned with a ARVN unit. He decided,while on guard duty, to go to the ville to "get Some". He had only been incounty 27 days on this tour and went he got to the ville was caught by VC/NVA (Apparently was a set up. ) He was killed while a POW and his remains were reccovered in 1985. He was promoted to SGT
Pfc Dewayne Soulder,HS BN 7th Comm, was kia on his first day incounty-5-1-67 when the chopper he was on crashed.
As we all know, whats on paper as to who we were with and where we were actually at may be 2 different stories.
